Atlanta Tango
hay sólo un tango
Argentine tango is most often known outside Argentina as a dance performed on stage or in a movie. But what most people in the United States don’t know is that it is a mainly social dance, and an experience that often can be transcendent.
Atlanta Tango offers the experience of tango as it is commonly danced in Buenos Aires and around the world. Our goal is to put students on the social dance floor in the shortest possible time-so that you will not be stuck in classes forever.
We teach tango for the social dance floor. Unlike the performance version of tango, the social dance is entirely improvised. This style emphasizes the connection between partners and musicality and uses a rich and subtle body language. Come learn this beautiful and passionate dance!

New Location.
Our classes just moved to the Buckhead area. Since June 30th, Atlanta Tango classes are held at The Gym of Peachtree Persbyterian Church.
This is the same location where Atlanta Tango has held recently workshops by visiting teachers.
The new location has a built-in sound system, wooden floors and mirrors. All this will help to teach better classes. We are really enjoying the new location!
