Argentine tango is most often known outside Argentina as a dance performed in a show, a movie or television dance shows. But what most people in the United States don't know is that tango is a social dance- something that 'ordinary' people dance right here in Atlanta, and around the world!

Angel and April offer you the experience of tango as it is commonly danced in Buenos Aires and around the world. Our goal is to put YOU on the dance floor in the shortest possible time-so that you will not be stuck in classes forever without having a real social tango experience-so you can begin to enjoy this wonderful and passionate dance as soon as possible! We also offer classes every week for tangueros with experience who wish to enrich their dances.

We teach tango for the social dance floor. Unlike the performance version of tango, the social dance is entirely improvised. This style emphasizes the connection between partners and musicality while employing a rich and subtle body language. If you come to our class with a 'serious tango face', beware- our classes are fun, so be prepared to smile, laugh and have fun dancing with us!

Every class we ever teach will follow this philosophy applied to social dancing, no matter the level or the theme of the class.
